International Journal of Social Forestry

Call for Papers

With great respects, IJSF calls the potential author(s) to submit his/her/their article to be published in this journal.

The International Journal of Social Forestry (IJSF) is a peer reviewed scientific journal focusing on social aspects of forest management, community-based management of forest-related resources, and forest governance and policy. The upcoming issue of IJSF still focuses on these general themes, and the Editors welcome manuscripts, both theoretical and empirical research papers, that bring new knowledge, experiences, and lessons learned on such issues.

The submitted papers will undergo a peer reviewing process and are blind-reviewed. The submitted papers must not be previously published, nor being simultaneously considered for publication elsewhere. Prior to submitting an article, please read Submission Rules, Author Guidelines, Statement Form, etc.

Article Classification
The article could be main scientific articles, the development of social forestry in any particular country, research note, book review, and a response to the published article in IJSF (debate).

Article Format & Length
The authors should submit the manuscript in two formats: a) A4 default page with double-spaced typescript, not exceeding 10,000 words (including footnotes and references), and b) IJSF default page (download it at www.ijsf.org) with single-spaced typescript, not exceeding 10,000 words (including footnotes and references), where both files are written in (Word) .doc or (preferred) .rtf files.

Submission and Statement
Send the manuscript files as mentioned above via email to editors@ijsf.org with CC’s to kettgun@yahoo.com and masardjono@yahoo.com. Along with the manuscript, the author should fill and send a statement form confirming that the submitted article is an original work of the author(s), has never been elsewhere published and is not in the process of its publication elsewhere. As well, the author(s) should state that he/she/they agree(s) to transfer the copyright to the publisher. The filled form could be scanned, and send its file to the Editors in .jpg or .pdf format.

Deadline
IJSF is published in June and December of any year. This is a general call, hence, the author(s) can submit the article any time--the earlier the better--prior to such publication date. If the author's article has been accepted for publication but could not be publish in a certain edition, IJSF will publish it in its ensuing edition(s).

In certain editions, we may set the fixed date for the article submission deadline.
